According to recent tweets from the Twitter account that frequently announces new SHIB token burns, approximately 21 million SHIB coins have been delivered to an unspendable wallet in the last twenty-four hours.
Another 21.1 million SHIB are being released from the SHIB army.
Every day, the Shiba Inu community burns millions of SHIB tokens, reducing the circulating supply of the second largest canine cryptocurrency. According to the @shibburn Twitter account, a total of 21,104,209 SHIB has been burned in the last twenty-four hours.
So far today, 2,837,414 SHIB have been burned out of that total.
By now, slightly more than 41% of the SHIB supply in circulation has been used.
A new SHIB burn website has been developed.
Twitter user @shibburn also announced the launch of a new website that provides statistics on SHIB burn transactions as well as a link to etherscan to confirm them.
The number of SHIB holders reaches a new high, yet they remain behind BabyDoge.
According to the WhaleStats blockchain tracker, the number of crypto wallets holding Shiba Inu tokens has reached an all-time high of 1,140,151.
That is still less than the amount of wallets holding another popular meme coin, BabyDoge. On January 12, there are now 1,205,517. Top BNB whales now have a total of $3,921,073 in BabyDoge (that’s 1,021,210,347,125,265 tokens).
In terms of Shiba Inu, WhaleStats reports that the top 1,000 ETH whales have 51,797,443,284,681 SHIB in their addresses, which is equal to $1,618,039,118.
