• A $95 million new-build superyacht will be available for purchase

  • Cloud Yachts, a digital yacht broker, has placed a new build superyacht for sale as an NFT for $95 million. Denison Yachting’s Alex Clarke, one of the world’s best superyacht brokers, has joined Cloud Yachts to give clients AR technology to create their superyacht. The 63-meter Project Metaverse superyacht was designed by renowned naval architect Gregory C Marshall. If sold, this superyacht will go down in history as the most expensive NFT.

Clarke told Boat International, “I am beyond excited to assist pioneer this groundbreaking new construction process with Gregory Marshall Naval Architects, Delta Marine, and Cloud Yachts.” “When I first heard about the Gregory Marshall NFT new build project, I knew I had to be a part of it because I believe it will be a game changer in the way yachts are built and sold.”

The Palm Beach International Boat Show will host the debut of Project Metaverse on March 24. Delta Marine, a North American shipyard, will construct this superyacht. Marshall, Clarke, Delta Marine, and Cloud Yachts put the historic superyacht NFT for sale on MLS, providing a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to acquire a limited edition NFT as well as a new construction superyacht.

Actually, Cloud Yachts has formed alliances with some of the industry’s largest companies in order to mint and sell NFTs. Bob Denison, Alex Jimenez, Bannenberg & Rowell, Marco Casali, and others are among those featured. The platform gained attention after its inaugural NFT drop at the Miami Yacht Show last month. Cloud Yachts collaborated with Marshall to create limited-edition superyacht designs, which were sold for 1 ETH each at the show.

A Super Mega Yacht NFT in The Sandbox was sold for $650,000 late last year. It did not, however, have a real-life counterpart.
