According to data provided by Whale Alert DLT sleuth, over the last twenty hours, large crypto whales and top digital exchanges have made approximately ten transfers totaling $706 million in Ethereum.
Overall, approximately 214,861 Ethereum were transferred with the help of anonymous large Ether holders (aka whales) and major cryptocurrency exchanges such as Gemini, Binance, and Kucoin. The largest transfers here ranged from 51,300 ETH to 42,859 ETH ($169,000,000 to $146,000,000).
According to CoinMarketCap, the second largest cryptocurrency, Ethereum, is currently worth $3,284. It managed to reclaim the $3,000 level earlier this week.
On Friday, Nick Tamaino, the founder and CEO of the 1confirmation venture fund, which is backed by billionaires such as Mark Cuban and Peter Thiel, revealed that over $1.35 billion in Ethereum (409,764 ETH) was burned in the third quarter of 2021.
The London hardfork, which was released on August 5 of this year, introduced the Ethereum burning mechanism, which is assisting Ethereum in becoming a deflationary cryptocurrency.
