• BAYC’s floor price reaches 70ETH, with Cryptopunks close behind!

  • On January 2nd, the Bored Ape Yacht Club broke their own record. BAYC’s current floor price is 70 ETH. In an NFT market, the “floor price” is the lowest price of any NFT within a certain category.

Not surprise, the NFT community is confident that this floor price will shortly surpass 100 ETH.

    BAYC: Let us review.

The BAYC collection is one of the most successful in the NFT market. A team of four developers launched the Bored Ape Yacht in late April. The entire 10,000 apes were sold out in 12 hours at the price of 0.08 ETH.

BAYC has traveled a wonderful path since then. This collection has done it all, from collaborating with major companies like Adidas and PrettyLittleThing to building its own P2E blockchain game with Animoca.

Indeed, just before Christmas, BAYC’s floor price surged to 53.9 ETH, surpassing CryptoPunk’s floor price of 52.69 ETH. In addition, some celebrities are members of the BAYC social club. Take a look at the list here.

Furthermore, owning Bored Ape NFT grants you complete commercial rights to it. The holders are taking advantage of this in a variety of ways. Surprisingly, one owner of a bored ape gave his ape a Twitter account with a backstory, changing him into Jenkins, a valet at the Yacht Club. In September, Jenkins was signed by a real-world agency. Not only that, but he’ll be the subject of his own biography, written in part by New York Times bestselling novelist Neil Strauss.

It will be interesting to see how the Bored Ape Yacht Club develops as the floor price rises.

In the meantime, you can look at their 2022 Roadmap.
