• Billionaire Mark Cuban claims that consumers prefer to pay in Dogecoin rather than Bitcoin, and explains why

  • According to billionaire Mark Cuban, consumers prefer Dogecoin (DOGE) to Bitcoin (BTC) when making payments.

The business tycoon says that customers at his venues pay in Dogecoin rather than Bitcoin because Bitcoin is a volatile asset.

“Not many people pay in Bitcoin because it is a valuable asset.” It’s a stored value, and they want its value to rise, so you won’t see people pay in it. However, many people pay in Dogecoin.”

Cuban, the owner of the Dallas Mavericks professional basketball team, claims that fans prefer Dogecoin to BTC when purchasing tickets and merchandise, despite the fact that the ball club accepts both types of cryptocurrency as payment on its website. Cuban believes this trend will continue into the upcoming NBA season.

“During the offseason, we sell thousands and thousands of dollars per month, and once the season begins, I expect that to happen per week in DOGE.” And that’s primarily because it’s easy to spend and doesn’t appreciate to the point where people want to keep it forever.”

Cuban previously praised Dogecoin as the “strongest” cryptocurrency on the market for payment processing.

According to CoinGecko, DOGE is currently trading at $0.24, while BTC is trading at $53,822.
