• Binance-backed Mavia Announces a Partnership with Tribe Gaming in a Major Push for Esports-Focused Products Peer-to-Peer Gaming

  • Skrice Studios’ Heroes of Mavia, a blockchain-based play-to-earn massively multiplayer online (MMO) strategy game, has formally announced its partnership with Tribe Gaming, one of the world’s leading esports organizations.

Tribe is expanding its operations to include blockchain gaming, including top mobile game designers and the world’s premier mobile gaming competitive teams – including a recent 2021 World Championship in Call of Duty: Mobile. On YouTube alone, Tribe’s powerhouse of creators and gamers typically garners over 100 million views per month.

“At Tribe, we’ve been carefully assessing the proper P2E project to integrate Tribe IP into, and cooperating with Mavia is an exciting opportunity,” stated Patrick Carney, Tribe Gaming’s Founder and CEO. “We’re optimistic about the project’s future, and we’re looking forward to watching Mavia’s continuous evolution as the game nears completion.”

As part of the agreement, Tribe has purchased dozens of Legendary pieces of land on the fantasy island of Mavia, where the Tribe branding will be prominently displayed in the game. It will also receive distinctive in-game skins and decorations that are themed after the Tribe.

Mavia, which is backed by Binance Labs, Crypto.com Capital, and Genblock Capital, is betting big on esports and competitive gaming, and has positioned its player base and partners accordingly. The collaboration with Tribe reinforces Mavia’s position as the largest esports-focused P2E game in the market.

“Our team could not be happier to have Tribe as an official partner of Mavia,” stated Yvan Feusi, Executive Producer of Skrice Studios. As we continue to push our game into the professional gaming and esports market, it is critical that we collaborate closely with seasoned veterans in this space. Not only does Tribe have the most prominent content developers in the mobile gaming space, but they also have the knowledge and aptitude to assist Mavia in realizing its potential as a blockbuster blockchain gaming product.”

Legendary plots feature the nicest Mavia map locations, the most luxurious design of any land kind, and the highest luck factor when removing barriers. The tribe could construct bases on the plots it owns to battle other bases and players across Mavia, rent them out to other players for a charge, make base partnerships with other players, or sell the bases on the Mavia marketplace.

Heroes of Mavia is an Ethereum-based game that takes place on a fantasy-themed island named “Mavia,” with the user serving as the commander of a base. Each player’s goal is to expand their base and army by stealing resources from other players’ bases. With its complicated physics, interesting gameplay, and novel monetization methods, it promises to alter the NFT gaming environment.

    About Tribe Gaming

Patrick “Chief Pat” Carney, a mobile gaming superstar, created Tribe Gaming in 2017 to foster the growth of mobile media, entertainment, and esports. Tribe’s artists have gathered over 29 million fans and 100+ million monthly views on YouTube alone, and Tribe’s esports teams compete in five major mobile titles. Tribe Gaming is headquartered in Austin, Texas, and its workers are spread across the globe.

    The Heroes of Mavia

Skrice Studios created Heroes of Mavia, a free-to-play MMO Strategy game. The game takes place on Mavia, a fantasy-themed island where players establish buildings on plots of land and combat adjacent bases and armies to gain in-game resources like Mavia’s P2E coin RUBY. In order to defend against opportunistic intruders attempting to take resources, players must carefully install defensive buildings such as walls, turrets, and traps on their base. Attacking opponents with land soldiers, vehicles, and air units can also be used to steal resources from their bases. RUBY is obtained by combating enemy troops and can be used to improve Land, Statue, and Hero NFTs.
