Blockasset, a non-fungible token (NFT) platform focused on sports, has partnered with well-known digital artist Dosbrak to launch an upcoming collection of NFTs.
The Legends Collection will be the name of the new NFTs collection, and the platform has partnered with five athletes from five different sports: football, boxing, rugby, athletics, and MMA. However, the names of the sports celebrities have not yet been revealed by the company.
There will be 10,000 NFTs in the collection, which will be divided into groups of 2,000 based on rarity.
According to the company, “it will feature special art designed to honor the names of each of these five athletes, evoking some of the most memorable moments of their careers.” “With the Legends NFTs collection, fans will be able to reconnect with their heroes and collect each of these moments as personalized digital art.”
As part of its campaign to promote the NFTs collection, Blockassets will even hold a ‘guess the athlete’ competition and giveaways.
Artists from NFT
The collaboration with Dosbrak alone will greatly increase the popularity of the NFTs collection. He is well-known for his sports-themed artworks and has received praise from a number of celebrities.
“Working with Dosbrak will imprint his distinct artwork on the collection, making each depiction a one-of-a-kind work of art.” Dosbrak’s approach to art, as well as his experience working with sports legends such as Mike Tyson and Connor McGregor, will give the Legends collection a distinct look. Dosbrask has also worked with athletes from around the world, including podcaster Joe Rogan, Tyson Fury, the UFC, and ESPN,” the company added.
Meanwhile, many well-known cryptocurrency platforms, such as Coinbase and Binance, have entered the NFT space by launching NFT marketplaces.
