Playing Arts, a purveyor of fine playing cards has recently ventured onto the crypto playground with a fine set of token-based gambling rectangles. The blockchain now has 55 fine-art-based designs.
Playing Arts has been in the playing card business since 2012, producing high-quality decks for gaming enthusiasts. They have now released their first set of blockchain assets, recognizing a perfect opportunity in NFT collectibles. In order to accomplish this, 7830 artistic collectibles were dropped into the NFT sphere.
The collection was released as a blind drop, with packs of two cards selling for 0.13 ETH each. The collection includes 54 playing cards that are decorated with fine works by some of the best digital artists around, with a 55th artwork adorning the back of each card.
The collection was released on August 19th and sold out in less than an hour. Collectors, on the other hand, can now buy Playing Arts cards on the OpenSea secondary market. However, with a floor price of 0.2 ETH, the value of these collectibles is rapidly rising.
