The Sandbox has announced a cooperation with the Tezos-powered mass-market play-to-earn NFT DOGAMÍ game to bring its dog avatars into the Metaverse. It is a huge achievement for the DOGAMÍ project. A first for The Sandbox, which previously only featured four-legged avatars as NPCs (non-playable characters), this marks a new stride in The Sandbox experience for all pet avatar holders.
DOGAMÍ’s non-fungible coins are taking off on Tezos. Following the recent launch of its DOGAMÍ Generation Alpha NFTs – restricted to 8,000 tokens – the project has reported a floor price of over 280 tez and a total volume of nearly 700,000 tez. Furthermore, less than 10% of the collection’s assets are posted for sale on Objkt, indicating that the collection’s early supporters want to support DOGAMÍ in the long run.
This first collaboration between DOGAMÍ and The Sandbox demonstrates that momentum is building for this pet avatar-focused project on Tezos. DOGAMÍ purchased a 33 Estate S-LAND to build a Community Hub and present The Sandbox’s first-ever pet-friendly experience.
DOGAMÍ NFT holders will be able to move around with their DOGAMÍ Voxel avatars, skate in the DOGA House skatepark, and participate in social activities with other DOGAMÍers before the end of the year.
