Dragon Kart, an innovative 3D play-to-earn battle racing game built on Binance Smart Chain (BSC), has announced the successful completion of a $1.1 million funding round that was oversubscribed. Bigcoin Capital and LuaVentures led the round, with TomoChain, Signum Capital, NGC Ventures, Shima Capital, AU21, Kardia Ventures, LaunchZone, VBC Ventures, BSC Station, and individual investors from Digital Strategies and Everse Capital also participating.
Dragon Kart combines interactive gameplay with DeFi and NFTs to provide users with a free, fun, and skill-based way to earn rewards for their efforts. Dragon Kart’s gameplay consists of racing battles such as PvC, PvP, and tournaments. The game’s characters are based on the Pikalong comic series by well-known Vietnamese artist Thang Fly, who has 1.4 million Facebook fans. Pikalong is a staple in Vietnamese culture, having been read in millions of homes and now taking center stage in Dragon Kart.
$KART, the company’s native token, will be based on BSC and will be used for all DeFi activities such as staking, farming, and lending. All transactions on the NFT Marketplace use $KART tokens as payment fuel. Token holders with a growing number of locked tokens will benefit from a higher rating/ranking in order to open valuable NFTs. In the future, players will be charged with $KART tokens for NFT renting services. BSC will help users save money on fees while also improving the overall in-game experience. The game will also convert assets like Kart Cars, characters, and weapons into NFTs, while also providing a marketplace for users to buy, sell, and swap items.
“We are excited to have the support of an amazing group of investors who will help share Dragon Kart’s vision with gaming communities around the world,” says Dragon Kart CEO Pham Van Phuong. Dragon Kart aims to provide an innovative experience for gamers and traders looking to earn rewards while having fun.”
The Dragon Kart team has more than a decade of experience as developers, entrepreneurs, blockchain experts, and gamers. Long Vuong (TomoChain), The Nang (LuaVentures), Thanh Dao (LaunchZone), Kyle Nguyen (VBC Ventures), and Logan are among the team’s advisory board members (LaunchZone).
Dragon Kart’s MVP is now available, allowing users to test the private demo by following Dragon Kart on social media. Dragon Kart will soon release more information about their upcoming IDO and public sale rounds. More details are available on the company’s official Telegram channel and website.
