The last time a whale purchased such a large quantity of Shiba Inu meme tokens was a month ago, when a rally began that pushed the coin up more than 300 percent in a single week.
Shiba Inu are becoming increasingly popular among whales.
As previously reported by U.Today, several large crypto holders, known as whales, have become interested in the second-largest meme crypto and have purchased large amounts of it.
The largest SHIB stashes were purchased about a month ago. Back then, a whale grabbed six trillion SHIB and then added 276 billion SHIB to that two days later in three transactions completed within a few hours of each other.
On October 15, more whales purchased SHIB. When the coin was in the red after losing $600 million of its market capitalization value, several massive transactions were noticed, totaling nearly 75 million SHIB.
Aside from that, anonymous whales purchased another 28 billion SHIB as the coin traded at a low of $0.000046.
The SHIB token has reached an all-time high.
Shiba Inu reached a new all-time high of $0.00008845 five days ago. Since then, the value of the coin has been declining.
It has fallen to the current price of $0.000069, with a market capitalization of $38,177,835,677. However, it is still ranked ninth on CoinMarketCap, with a market cap of $35,951,491,724. Its main competitor, Dogecoin, is ranked tenth, with a market cap of $35,951,491,724.
