• Floki Inu Secures Deals with Euro Soccer Clubs Despite Lack of Major Exchange Listings

  • Floki Inu and its helmeted Shiba dog head will appear on the shirts of two European soccer teams as part of a $1.5 million marketing blitz.

Floki Inu has collaborated with the Italian and Spanish soccer teams SSC Napoli and Cádiz. The Floki Inu logo, an illustration of a Shiba Inu dog wearing a Viking helmet, will appear on the back of SSC Napoli’s first team shirt and on electronic advertising boards throughout Napoli’s Series A games as part of the agreement.

Floki Inu’s marketing team stated that partnering with SSC Napoli is part of the company’s goal of becoming “the most famous and used cryptocurrency in the world.” The Floki Inu logo will appear on the shirt sleeves of the Spanish club Cádiz. As a sleeve sponsor for the Hero Indian Super League, Floki Inu has also partnered with the Kerala Blasters, an Indian soccer team.

With the Squid Game saga still fresh in their minds, Floki has launched an aggressive marketing campaign.

The Floki Inu team has set aside $1.5 million for aggressive marketing campaigns, convincing major exchanges to list the token, and attracting A-list influencers. It also announced an endorsement deal with boxing superstar Tyson Fury. According to Floki.com, it is in the process of developing Valhalla, a play-to-earn NFT gaming metaverse aimed at assisting unemployed people, similar to what Axie Infinity has done in places like the Philippines. Fury’s voice will be heard in the game.

There is also a Floki-based marketplace called FlokiPlace in the works, which will allow users to trade NFTs and physical items.

Just look at the Squid Game token saga to see how easy it is to get excited about meme coins. Before we go any further, keep in mind that Floki Inu is currently only available on the decentralized exchanges Uniswap and PancakeSwap.

Even Robinhood has refused to list the popular Shiba Inu token, and there is no indication that it will do so for Floki Inu. Floki Inu was recently involved in a minor squabble with UK advertising authorities and Transport For London (TFL). The Advertising Standards Authority questioned the legitimacy of the TFL’s approval of advertisements on its underground and bus networks.

Sporting alliances for cash-flush crypto firms

As recently reported by ULTCOIN365, the sports world is awash in crypto-focused partnerships, though these alliances have not always gone down well with fans. Many football teams have collaborated with Socios to provide fan tokens or NFTs of memorable moments in the club’s history.

FTX has been a major player in Formula One, partnering with the Mercedes-AMG Petronas team to have its logo prominently displayed on the driver’s clothing and the vehicle.
