• Horizen and Dash have joined up to build a “reward marketing amplifier blockchain.”

  • Horizen Labs, a developer of an all-in-one public blockchain platform, announced today a new collaboration with Dash, the payments-focused and e-commerce cryptocurrency, to create a “reward marketing amplifier blockchain application.” Users will be rewarded in DASH for completing tasks on the new blockchain.

Horizen’s scalability and sidechain protocol, Zendoo and Dash’s payments technology, and their expertise in community interaction are all being used to create the one-of-a-kind reward marketing solution.

After the proof of concept is successfully implemented, Horizen Labs and Dash will collaborate to improve and expand the reward marketing solution to include new functionalities and incentive models that extend the solution to mainstream social media platforms and real-world use cases, such as promoting and incentivizing Dash merchant adoption and real-world activities like the Dash Direct project.

“Innovative incentive structures aimed at crypto usability are uncommon in the crypto business. We are thrilled that the Dash community will be awarded in DASH for their efforts to promote cryptocurrency adoption in the real world.”
    — Ernesto Contreras, Head of Business Development at Dash Core Group

Dash Core Group and Horizen Labs will use zero-knowledge proofs and automated rewards distribution to build the reward solution into a fully decentralized system with privacy-preserving features. Ultimately, the goal is to open up the system so that anyone may create their own reward marketing schemes.

“In a number of new ways, Zendoo is being used to establish an application-specific blockchain. In this situation, the ultimate goal is to create a fully decentralized, data protection system based on zero-knowledge proofs that anyone may use to create their own independent reward marketing programs.”
    — Rob Viglione, CEO of Horizen and co-founder of Horizen

The development of the multi-chain has begun, and deployment on the testnet will begin in early Q4 2021.
