• Hyundai unveiled metaverse ambitions that include NFTs and virtual items

  • Hyundai has revealed its metaverse ambitions using NFTs and virtual items, according to a tweet by trademark attorney Mike Kondoudis. Hyundai intends to issue non-fungible tokens (NFTs) and to disseminate NFT-backed media content.

Furthermore, Hyundai will release virtual products such as toys for simulation and virtual reality, sports equipment, headgear, clothes, sports gear, footwear, eyeglasses, images, and works of art.

Hyundai also included a short film clip in the release that explained the “metamobility” concept.

Major corporations join the metaverse bandwagon.

Hyundai is not the first automotive manufacturer to enter the NFT market. In April, it joined other well-known automakers such as Mercedes-Benz. Hyundai, on the other hand, went above and above to establish a community collection that distinguishes it from its competition.

Other well-known brands, such as Chevron, a massive oil conglomerate, have also entered the metaverse realm, offering a diverse range of virtual items such as gas, gasoline, and renewable energy products. It’s worth mentioning that metaverse-related jobs have expanded by around 380 percent since October.

However, the metaverse business may be facing an identity crisis after Vitalik Buterin, one of Ethereum’s co-founders and a programmer, remarked that the metaverse has no clear definition and no specific technology linked with it.
