• In the last 24 hours, LINK has become the most traded token among Ethereum whales

  • According to the WhaleStats tracking service, Chainlink (LINK) has become the most traded cryptocurrency among the 1,000 largest Ethereum wallets. The token’s volume was approximately $2 million.

In the last 24 hours, whales preferred to trade Chainlink over more well-known tokens such as SHIB, CRO, OKB, and others. According to the holdings leaderboard, Chainlink is still in sixth place, with $380 million in holdings among the network’s largest wallets.

Due to a global market correction that occurred on both the Bitcoin and altcoin markets the previous week, whales exited the majority of their previously opened positions. The SHIB token is still the most popular among whales.

Unfortunately for LINK holders, the token lost more than 7% of its value while regaining about 9% over the weekend. The ongoing sell-off could be linked to Bitcoin’s price movement. The price of digital gold fell by about 4% over the weekend. According to some analysts, the cryptocurrency market correction may be related to the global risk-off in financial markets.
