Marvel is making steady progress with their Marvel Month initiative, following the success of their Spiderman collection. Specifically, limited-edition digital comics and Captain America collectibles.
In the spirit of superhero fandom, Marvel is reissuing three of its most rare and sought-after comic books. With this in mind, all three are making their way to the NFT realm as digital NFT collectibles. The first issue is Marvel Comics #1, the comic that started it all. Issue #85, Journey into Mystery, is the first comic to feature the endearing supervillain Loki. Finally, here is the first Fantastic Four comic book.
The three comic NFTs will be available on August 19, 20, and 21. Each is available in five levels of rarity based on the cover design, and each is priced at a flat $6.99. There are 170k comics available in total.
Moreover, the Marvel Mightys collection was released earlier this week. These are five cartoonized characters from the Captain America franchise, each with a varying scarcity. To that end, the collection’s rarest item is the evil overlord known as The Red Skull. Marvel Mightys are priced at a flat $13 each.
All items are only available through the VeVe App, which is available for both iOS and Android. Each collection is carried out as a blind drop, with the level of rarity received being determined at random.
