Shabangrs and 10,000 NFTs are now available on OpenSea.

This collection of 10,000 NFTs is for sale on OpenSea (the pre-sale began on October 20th, with the general sale beginning on October 30th), and each one comes with its own set of utilities, offers, raffles, and giveaways. Each Shabangrs NFT holder will be granted “citizenship” in the virtual city of Shabangrsville, giving them access to a wealth of resources as well as an incredible network of creatives and photographers.

On this occasion, we interviewed Hurley to learn more about how and why he began working in the crypto art sector.

“Shabangrs NFT collection to raise awareness,” says Peter Hurley.

Why did you choose to work in the NFT industry?

The NFT sector is altering the way creators can exchange their work with collectors while simultaneously verifying ownership in real-time.

This is a huge opportunity for photographers because they don’t always get credit for the shots they take. Photos with NFTs can always have the creator’s information in the metadata, resulting in credit being given.

Photographers in general aren’t well-versed in this field, and Shabangrs NFTs are designed to raise awareness while also providing massive value to the community.

What are the advantages of NFTs for photography?

NFTs can benefit photography and photographers by making it simple for almost anyone in the world to transfer ownership rights and verify authenticity without having to worry about fakes or replicas. Photographers can take it a step further by including utilities in the items they sell. A photographer, for example, may have an upcoming event and include access to that future event in a photo or series of photos sold as an NFT. That’s a game changer.

Was it difficult to get started with NFTs?

It would have been difficult to get this going without the extremely knowledgeable and talented team that is currently working on Shabangrs. You will undoubtedly need to surround yourself with subject matter experts such as designers, developers, and marketers.

How do you see the future of NFT?

The future of the NFT space is astounding. I’m willing to bet that nearly everything you can imagine owning will be linked to an NFT at some point.
