• NFT Hit Song “Twisted Sister” by Zuckerberg’s Sister

  • Randi Zuckerberg, Mark Zuckerberg’s sister, has stepped in to inject excitement to NFT Twitter with an unusual rendition of Twisted Sister’s rebellious hymn, “We’re not going to take it.”

In an idea that could only have sprung from a drunken night at karaoke, Zuckerberg parades around the video, oblivious to its sarcastic overtones, gesticulating wildly as he sings, “We’re all going to make it.” Indeed, a provocative riff on the song’s original title.

Randi is well-known for having a controversial brother, so her attempt to connect with the NFT community has elicited widespread skepticism as she prances through the presumably self-financed video, wearing a jacket emblazoned with a “NFT” motif and churning out NFT-related tropes in place of the original lyrics.

The video is a montage of fast special effects and exaggerated psychotic grinning. All the while, taking all of the passion and intensity from the original rock song and replacing it with what the community believes is a level of cringe-worthyness not seen since 2002, when a slew of narcissistic celebrities recorded a terrible rendition of John Lennon’s Imagine.

Following its release into the Twitter ether, the video has been met with virtually universal confusion, with many perplexed folks staring in astonishment while mouthing the single syllable word, “Why?”
