• NFTs are being used by a Canadian taco company for a customer loyalty program

  • This $6 million taco firm wants to capitalize on their growing customer base, with 19 sites across Canada and plans to expand into the United States.

Tenacious Tacos is a collection that allows holders to enjoy both Web3 and actual rewards. Those who choose can also stake their NFTs to receive additional digital incentives.

Tenacious Tacos can be redeemed for benefits such as the chance to win a lifetime of free meals or monthly payouts in ETH/WETH, according to the official announcement.

Landry’s restaurant chain, which includes Bubba Gump Shrimp Factory and Rainforest Cafe, previously launched a Bitcoin loyalty program. Customers might, however, earn Bitcoin (BTC) rewards in that case, such as $25 worth of Bitcoin for every $250 spent at one of the brand’s many eateries.

StrEAT’s solution offers value to traditional loyalty programs while also providing utility to NFTs.

A restaurant business in Canada is contributing to the expanding number of NFT use cases. NFTs will be used in the StrEATS franchise’s new customer loyalty program.

Joe Klassen, CEO of Joeys Group of Restaurants and founder of the Tenacious Tacos NFT project, highlighted the importance of their community: “The vision with this project is to become closer with the community while simultaneously creating the opportunity for them to share in our growing success.”

The real-life NFT perks of the loyalty program include a 20% discount at all StrEATS locations, VIP event access, and voting rights on future menu options.

Chipotle, the large burrito and taco company, implemented cryptocurrency payments at roughly 3,000 sites across the United States in June of this year. Last month, the chain offered a cryptocurrency giveaway to clients via a digital game.
