• NFTs collaborated with Stan Lee on this project

  • Mintable, a non-fungible token platform based in Singapore, has announced the release of a limited edition NFT collection featuring comic book legend Stan Lee.

The series of the creator of some of the most well-known superheroes, including as Spider-Man and the Hulk, will be auctioned on August 6, 2021, at 6 p.m. ET.

The Stan Lee Legacy Collection, which includes three paintings by artist Rob Prior titled “The Infinity Gauntlet,” “Introducing Stan Lee: Master of Magic,” and “I Am Iron Man,” as well as five previously unseen photographs and videos of Lee gathered from his friend Jonathan Bolerjack’s collection, will be auctioned off in conjunction with the unveiling of the Stan Lee Legacy Collection.

Fans and collectors will be able to acquire large-format paintings and NFTs corresponding to each painting at this virtual event, while images show private moments shot in numerous public appearances and personal photos during his final days.

In the two years preceding up to Stan Lee’s death, internationally famous painter Rob Prior said the two worked together to choose and edit the work for the project, to the point where the physical works were personally signed by the comic book artist. In addition, he stated the following about the dissemination medium:

“While he isn’t here today to witness it exposed to the public, I can’t think of a more appropriate medium for showcasing it than the NFT.”

A mystery NFT will also be revealed during a special livestream event with Joel Comm’s Bad Crypto Podcast, one hour before the collection is launched, to round off the collection. A percentage of the earnings from the sale will be donated to charity in support of groups working to combat childhood illiteracy, a subject that Stan Lee has always championed.
