Acala will provide the technical foundation for the loyalty program and digital collectibles initiative introduced by Project Venkman’s client, theCHIVE, as part of this collaboration.

theCHIVE is a well-known e-commerce company known for its irreverent content and merchandise collaborations with celebrities such as Bill Murray, Chris Farley, and John Daly.

Gavin Gillas, CEO of Project Venkman, is enthralled by the opportunities presented by the collaboration with the top-tier blockchain-based product:

We’re excited to collaborate with Acala and the Polkadot ecosystem to bring a new class of rewards to brands and communities all over the world. DeFi provides so many opportunities for consumers to own their loyalty rewards, and we’re excited to work with Acala to make this a reality for millions of users over the next few months.

Technically, the blockchain-based instruments will be used to distribute rewards in a fair and transparent manner to customers of theCHIVE products and other Project Venkman clients.

NFTs for supporters of the Acala crowdloan

Venkman and theCHIVE will use Acala’s instruments to launch their first NFT drop. Five unique tokens will be distributed among the contributors to Acala’s crowdloan campaign from the first 25 NFTs.

The lucky draw is open to all Acala crowdloan participants who confirmed their emails. Because exchange addresses do not count, only those who contribute “seamlessly” are eligible to receive NFTs.

More real-world products will incorporate Acala’s tools into their business models, according to Acala and Project Venkman.
