• Scaramucci of SkyBridge: Investors Who Do Their Homework Will Buy Bitcoin

  • Anthony Scaramucci, the founder of the investment firm SkyBridge Capital, has repeatedly demonstrated that he is a fervent supporter of bitcoin and a hodler.

In a recent interview, he explained the most important benefits of the leading digital asset and why he owns more than $1 billion in it.

    Everything Relates to Understanding

Only people who are unfamiliar with bitcoin, according to Scaramucci, can criticize it. Individuals who do their “homework” and understand the primary cryptocurrency, on the other hand, will eventually invest in it. To back up his words, he cited billionaire Ray Dalio, who had reservations about the asset in the past but is now a hodler:

“Take, for example, Ray Dalio, a bitcoin skeptic who is now a bitcoin investor.”

SkyBridge Capital’s CEO went on to say that the digital asset is more than just a currency, but a “mechanism for society.” Its primary advantage is decentralization and scarcity, which means that no “politician or policy can corrupt it or add supply to it.”

Scaramucci noted that even the Russian Federation’s president, Vladimir Putin, believes bitcoin and altcoins can play a role in the future financial system.

The increased BTC price fluctuations, according to some skeptics, are the main disadvantages. Scaramucci, like his previous statements, reminded that the stock prices of Facebook, Google, and Amazon experienced similar problems in their early years of existence. And, like those behemoth corporations, BTC “will have a significant impact on the global economy over the next decade.”

“Right now, I would classify bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies as early adaptive technologies.” And just look at Facebook, Google, and Amazon – they all began with a wave of oscillating volatility before stabilizing,” he added. Scaramucci, Anthony.

    Bitcoin Is Considered Digital Gold.

For the past few years, the crypto community has been debating whether bitcoin has the arguments to compete with, and even outperform, gold as a better store of value. While some prominent figures, such as Jamie Dimon and Peter Schiff, are staunch supporters of the precious metal, Scaramucci’s viewpoint is markedly different.

Nonetheless, SkyBridge Capital’s founder did not put his name alongside Michael Saylor, who believes bitcoin is 50 times better than gold. The former believes the two financial instruments are on par:

“This is equivalent to digital gold to me.” Guys like Michael Saylor believe it’s better… I’m not sure how I feel about it. “I am not a proponent of bitcoin.”

    Scaramucci’s Investing Advice

Apart from urging people to learn more about the cryptocurrency space, the top executive also provided some advice to those thinking about investing in bitcoin for the first time.

In one of his previous appearances, he advised the public to allocate no more than 5% of their total savings to receive exposure to its price, but not so much that it would significantly harm them if the price corrected significantly.
