• Secret Network collaborates with OpenSea to launch NFTs

  • Secret Network has partnered with OpenSea, the world’s largest NFT marketplace. The protocol will collaborate to release seven one-of-a-kind NFTs as a single collection. Except for the creators, only the buyers of the art piece will be able to view the content. The auction of such one-of-a-kind artwork is scheduled for next month. The artwork’s creators will be able to grant full access to the NFTs.

Secret Network has collaborated with OpenSea to launch one of NFT’s first built-in private features. Furthermore, access control features will be included in the digital collectibles collection. The protocol intends to auction seven unique Non-Fungible Tokens as part of digital collectibles next month in collaboration with the world’s largest NFT market marketplace and a popular artist. Notably, the collection will be the auction’s first NFTs of its kind. Furthermore, the buyers’ exclusive content will be visible only to crypto token hodlers.

The Secret Network provides a multi-tiered experience.

Secret Network will feature NFTs that have never been seen by anyone other than its creators. The first auction of such NFTs will, in fact, be followed by a second, much larger collection. The collections will be for sale and mint to the general public. According to Alexander Bercow, OpenSea’s art partnerships manager, the platform is excited to collaborate with the Secret Network. Finally, the collaboration hopes to provide artists with a multi-tiered experience for their collectors. Alexander went on to say that private Non-Fungible Tokens offer a new type of solution to all types of creators.

The first NFT to support both public and private content

The team has spent a significant amount of time preparing for the hero event, according to Guy Zyskind, the founder of Enigma, the core developers behind Secret Network. The team has secured intellectual property for the greatest artistic creators to launch the NFTs ecosystem and highlight their such privacy-preserving technology. That is, indeed, the first blockchain to support such assets with both public and private content.

It is also worth noting that the NFTs were developed in accordance with the ERC-721 and CosmWasm-721 token standards. Furthermore, they share the characteristics of standard crypto tokens.

Full access can be granted by creators.

Secret Network enables artists to control who has complete access to their content. For example, a creator can create a thumbnail or watermarked version of the piece to give the public an idea of the content. However, the full resolution version of the art piece remains private, and anyone interested in viewing the content will have to purchase the piece.

The creators, on the other hand, have the option of embedding their piece with secret commentary or any original content that will remain hidden from the public. Verifiable ownership of goods and experiences does not have to be made public with such ownerships. The protocol validation process takes place without jeopardizing any private data. Proofs of authenticity and transfers are examples of such data.
