Snoop Dogg (real name Cozomo de Medici) is well-known for his support of NFTs, and the American rapper is constructing a virtual “mansion” within The Sandbox Metaverse.
In this virtual world, one could own virtual property, land, or real estate, as well as build a personal home. Transactions for real estate in these digital realms are surging, guided by the same principle that governs real estate in the physical world: location.

The Sandbox, a metaverse behemoth, has announced the first phase of the Snoop Dogg land auction, which includes 122 regular lands, 67 premium lands, and three estates that are strikingly similar to Snoop Dogg’s virtual real estate. Landowners will take part in Snoop Dogg’s Snoopverse, a multi-event set within the Metaverse. Owners can collect NFTs and SAND by playing in the Snoopverse, which will allow for social interaction through concerts and events.
Snoopverse Early Access Pass holders may also have first access to Snoop Dogg’s Metaverse creations, such as a Snoop statue and the Brown Sugar car.
The Sandbox’s land is still in high demand, with the cheapest secondary market lots costing 1790 SAND, or $11,921. Snoop Dogg, on the other hand, appears not to be the only celebrity who enjoys the Metaverse; Justin Bieber recently performed at a Metaverse live performance.
