• Tesla merchandise may now be purchased using Dogecoin, which has increased by 15%

  • Tesla CEO Elon Musk announced on Twitter that customers can now purchase the company’s items with Dogecoin.

In the near future, SpaceX, Musk’s space company, will allow customers to pay for merchandise using dog money.

In January, the major e-car manufacturer revealed that customers could begin purchasing select things, including the Cyberquad for Kids, with the meme cryptocurrency. However, it now appears that all products will be available for purchase with the top meme coin.

On the announcement, the price of Dogecoin jumped 15.8 percent before reversing some of its gains. The Bitcoin spoof peaked at $0.09 after falling as low as $0.076 on the Binance market earlier today.

This is Musk’s second tweet on his favorite cryptocurrency in the last 24 hours. Yesterday, his tweet only managed to raise the price of DOGE for 26 seconds before it quickly reversed all gains.

While Dogecoin’s price performance has been awful in 2022, Musk, the world’s richest person, is helping to keep it afloat. Tesla CEO Elon Musk acknowledged in March that he had not sold the meme coin.

The internet billionaire is also in the process of acquiring Twitter, which is seen as a positive move for Dogecoin. Musk proposed that DOGE be added as a payment option on the prominent social media site, allowing users to pay for premium subscriptions with the meme coin.
