Despite its age, the cask is on track to reach the legendary 50-year mark. As a result, the purchase is clearly a long-term investment, and Macallan has placed its trust in the blockchain to keep the contract in place.
The auction will take place on Metacask’s native marketplace from October 18 to 22. Furthermore, the sale will mark the platform’s official launch. Then they’ll start offering various sales geared toward whisky connoisseurs.
