• Luis Suárez joins Messi in launching an NFT drop on the Ethereum blockchain

  • Luis Suárez is widely regarded as one of the best football players of his generation. Suarez, also known as El Pistolero, is a striker for Atlético Madrid and the Uruguayan National Team. In August 2022, he will launch his own collection of NFTs on the Ethernity Chain.

The launch of Lionel Messi’s private collection on the same platform follows the release of the second international superstar football player NFT collection. This auction was a huge success, breaking records by raising $5 million in the first few days of its launch.

    Amazing experiences and art hand-in-hand

The collection of Luis Suarez will include “unlockables,” which are physical collectible items that go along with the NFTs. Participants in this auction have the chance to win both physical items and unforgettable personal encounters with Suarez.

Suarez began playing football in his native Uruguay in 2005, and went on to play for Ajax before joining Liverpool FC, where he won the league in his first season. Over the course of his football career, he has won 19 trophies, including seven league titles and a UEFA Champions League. He has 500 goals in his professional career and has won several European Golden Shoes.

    Taking creativity to new heights

Impossible Brief (who did the Messi drop) and Visual Lab are among the artists behind this exciting launch (responsible for the superstar DJ, Nicky Romero drop). Impossible Brief is a visual effects and music video production company. Visual Lab is a design firm that works with artists and brands to create some incredible works of art.

On the Ethernity Chain, the launch will take place in August. In the celebrity NFT launch niche, this blockchain-based platform is a pioneer. It has already hosted some notable drops, including the “Muhammed Ali” collection, the “Pele” collection, and, of course, the “Messiverse” collection, which is the chain’s most well-known drop. Ethernity Chain is known for donating a portion of the proceeds from their auctions to charity.
