  • South Korean officials have requested that Interpol issue a’red alert’ for Terraform Labs co-founder Do Kwon, whose current location is unknown.

A red notice requests that law enforcement around the world identify and arrest the identified suspect and hold them in custody until extradition proceedings may begin. If issued, the warning would be distributed to member police forces in 195 nations around the world.

The Singapore Police Force verified to the press on Saturday that Kwon was not in the city-state as previously reported.

On September 14, South Korean prosecutors filed an arrest warrant for Do Kwon and then sought to revoke his passport a few days later.

Kwon is a South Korean national, however it is unknown whether he has a second or third nationality.

Kwon tweeted that he is not on the run, that he is cooperating with authorities, and that he has “nothing to hide.”

He also stated that “unless we are buddies, have plans to meet, or are participating in a GPS-based Web3 game, you have no business knowing my GPS coordinates.”
